VS Sports Bra

This week I received a complimentary Victoria’s Secret Sport VoxBox from Influenster!

It included The Angel Sports Bra ($44.50), a six pack of Mesh Sport Socks ($29.50), a VS Tape Measure, and a 25% off coupon for VSX Sport!

The Angel

This sports bra comes in sizes 32-36A-DD and offers medium support. The cups have a memory foam that conforms to your shape and underwire for additional support. It also has an adjustable back closure.

Since I am definitely on the smaller ( erm… smallest) end of that size range, this sports bra didn’t fit me quite as well as I had hoped. However, I have this problem with a lot of clothing so I can’t really blame VS. I loved the color I received, and the fabric feels very nice.

I wore a frat tank over this when I went walking/running and it was very comfortable and breathable!

Mesh Sport Socks

These socks are very soft and breathable. I love that the back of the sock is higher than the front to prevent it from slipping down into you sneakers!

Plus, the bright colors compliment my just as bright Nike’s really well.

The Studio

I went to VS to use my 25% off coupon and found The Studio Sports Bra. I tried it on in both Hello Lovely and Neon Apricot/Orange Heat and ended up purchasing the latter.

This sports bra has a more classic fit than the Angel. It provides medium support and has removable padding, as well as adjustable straps, something I definitely need. It is super comfortable and fit me perfectly! I wore it while running errands today (it’s gross and rainy out) and I actually forgot that I was wearing it!

Thanks so much to Victoria’s Secret and Influenster for giving me the opportunity to be a VSSport Tester!

This is a sponsored blog post. Influenster provided me with complimentary Victoria’s Secret products to test and review as part of a contest.

5K Training

Today I started training to be able to run a 5K!

Everyone always tells me that I am athletic because I dance, but I would really like to be able to run. So, as long as it goes well, I will be signing up for The Color Run when it is in the Lehigh Valley in October.

Usually I don’t like running because…

It hurts

I think I’ll look stupid

Often I worry that my allergies will act up from being outside

But these are just terrible excuses.

I found a workout regimen that trains you in 9 weeks called The Couch to 5K. The Running Plan is free, and they also have an app you can download for $20. It seems like the app is more about encouragement and weight loss so I don’t think I’ll need it.

Today I was able to finish half of the first workout. It is frustrating because I am in good shape so my body doesn’t get tired, but I get horrible headaches and I have to stop. Hopefully as my body gets used to this new stress the headaches will stop! I’m glad that I had my boyfriend to run with; he makes a great coach even when I threaten to kill him.
