Date Night

Last night I went out to dinner with my boyfriend!

I wore a simple coral dress from American Eagle and dressed it up with my Jack Rogers wedges and some accessories.

My necklace is from Forever 21, but it reminds me of the Lilly Pulitzer Goodie Goodie Necklace. It was a lot cheaper, and it doesn’t have the pink and green accents like the Lilly one does, so it goes with more outfits.

I got this bag last year as a free gift from Lilly Pulitzer. it was supposed to be a different color, but they ran out of the original print and sent me this gold one instead (it perfectly matched a dress I ordered for a wedding!). I love it so much because it matches everything!

I always lug around a huge tote, but when I go to dinner I like to have a smaller bag with just the essentials: YSL Lipgloss, Nirvana Black roller ball, and my favorite compact.

And heres me attempting to cutely twirl in my twirly dress… and almost falling down the hill!

Thanks to my boyfriend for a wonderful evening!

My Summer Scent

Perfume is something that always makes me feel a little more put together. Whether I’m going to a nice dinner with my boyfriend, or just to the store, it fills my surroundings with vibrancy. That’s probably what makes it so darn expensive.

I tend to lean away from heavy floral scents (possibly something to do with my horrid allergies) and gravitate towards anything sweet or fruity.

One of my all time favorite scents, and my typical go to, is Ralph Lauren Big Pony #2. Not only is it sweet with notes of Cranberry and Tonka Mousse, but it also happens to come in a pink bottle with a green pony (my favorites)!

Recently, I decided to spend some of my Sephora VIB points and get the 100 point gift: the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black rollerball.

This is the beginning of a new brand by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, named after their other siblings and uses the idea of two contradictory personalities. Nirvana Black’s counterpart is Nirvana White (which hopefully I will get to try!).

You can definitely smell the notes of violet, sandalwood, and vanilla, but I disagree with Sephora calling it mysterious. To me, there is something familiar about it. Maybe that’s because my little sister always loved vanilla scented beauty products when we were young.

I put this on before going to the store the other day and I felt as if it was whirling around me. But in a good, not overpowering way.

The 100 point gift is little, but it is perfect to tuck in a purse. Plus, with perfume, a little goes a long way.
