I cannot believe that this happened. Even though I am starting my Event Planning Certification and have a lot to look forward to, I will definitely miss the place that has become another home to me. What made all of this even more special is that my little came home early from Scotland where she was studying abroad to surprise me!! I had no idea it was happening, and actually started crying when I opened the door of my apartment and saw her.
And then I made her take my graduation pictures because my roommates were taking too long.
I have been dying to wear this Lilly Pulitzer shift in First Impressions since I bought it months ago!!
And here’s a close up of my Graduation Cap
And then… I graduated!
One of the best parts was that my whole sorority family was able to be there! I am a sandwich since we have Carley, Marissa, Kate, Carly, Marissa!
Above everything, I am so grateful for the education I received, and that it didn’t rain!
For the rest of senior week, I had a ton of activities every day!
Thursday we had dinner and went to Rascal’s, which is an arcade. I wore white jeans, Jack Rogers wedges, and a Lilly Pulitzer silk tank.
For the champagne brunch, I wore a maxi dress from Forever 21 and the Perry Street necklace from my Rocks Box!
One of my sorority sisters also wanted to take pictures in front of the Muhlenberg sign!
And here are my Roomies and I at the final Senior Celebration!
For Baccalaureate and dinner with my family at 1741 on the Terrace at Hotel Bethlehem, I wore a Lilly sundress I got at the sale last summer.
It was such a fun week!
Ah Senior Ball. It’s like prom but with an open bar.
In all seriousness, the ball was so much fun, and Jack and I danced the night away! I wore a Basix Black Label dress from Neiman Marcus, Kate Spade rhinestone studs, and a bracelet that Jack gave me for my 16th birthday. I also wore nude heels from Aldo.
I felt like a princess with my perfect prince charming all night long!
In the midst of finals and finishing my thesis, I helped Jack’s mom with the decorations and games for his sister’s bridal shower!
I made a Miss to Mrs sign out of card stock, and hung it in front of the gifts. I also made big paper pom poms, and three fun games about what is in your purse, bridal superstitions, and who has the groom? where whoever has a picture of the groom in their envelope wins!
The groom’s family made the centerpieces, which were also favors for the guests.
My favorite part was the Wedding Advent Calendar I made! for the two weeks before the wedding, Anna will be opening little gifts to get her excited, and also prepared, for the big day! After the wedding I will do another post that lists all of the gifts, but for now here is the final product:
The bags are from Target, and the foam board and ribbon are from Michael’s!
Recently I signed up for Rocks Box, which is a monthly subscription that allows you to rent designer jewelry for as long as you want. When you are done, you send it back free of charge, and they send you three new pieces. It is just $19 a month, but I got my first month free because my friend had a code. If you’d like to sign up, use my personal code: katebff337
This box was absolutely perfect because it matched all of the dresses I bought for Senior week and Graduation!
I wore the blue Kendra Scott earrings to my sorority’s senior party, with a dress from Charlotte Russe and heels from C. Wonder (rip).
I wore the white druzy Kendra Scott earrings for graduation, which I will post later, and the Perry Street necklace for Senior Champagne Brunch. I am planning on also wearing it to Jack’s Sister’s rehearsal dinner!
I recently received the Influenster Covergirl Vox Box!
After testing these out I absolutely love them! The Intensify Me eyeliner is like a felt tip pen for your eyes. I have always used a little brush for my liquid liner, but this makes it SO much easier, and allowed me to get a little more daring with my eyes for both my Sorority’s Senior Party, and Muhlenberg’s Senior Ball!
While I did like the Super Sizer Mascara, it does not give as much volume as I am used to. If you are looking for longer lashes, this is the one to pick though!
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
Since I was getting ready to graduate and move home this semester, I thought it was about time I decorate my new room at home. Though it is not quite done yet, I went to Home Goods and picked up some cute accessories for my bookshelf.
Being an English major means I have plenty of books! The ones that didn’t match I covered with pretty paper, and I still have some more to do. I kept my textbooks because I can just cover them instead of spending money on coffee table books. My favorite piece is definitely the gold telephone bank. It looks like a Jonathan Adler piece, but it was $12!
I will post much more about this when it is all finished!
